Our Workshops

Our workshops aim to inspire and empower young women to consider studying engineering and related fields.

Free of charge, Melbourne and Monash chapters cover metropolitan Melbourne and regional areas on biannual week-long trips.

In these fun and educational classes, students learn the basics of engineering, robotics and programming using LEGO Mindstorms EV3 kits. Our workshops have been designed to provide training in
LEGO Robotics programming which encourages logical thinking, problem solving, as well as prepares students for learning other programming languages. Students do not need to have any prior experience with robotics or programming. Workshops can be held at the University of Melbourne, Monash University or at schools.

Express interest in our workshops through the form below.

The workshop was a very positive experience for our students and a fantastic learning opportunity. STEM is an area that we are interested in and are aiming to incorporate more into our curriculum, so it was a perfect fit for us. We would love to have the opportunity to work with robogals again in the future.”

“Robogals impact at JMSS has been significant and long lasting. The program is so successful that we often have a waitlist of primary schools wishing to access this program. Through Robogals we are able to coordinate a program that effectively engages the next generation of STEM champions. I am consistently impressed with the quality, maturity, professionalism, and passion of the Robogals crew each year. I can’t imagine the success of our Co-Curricular program without the Robogals!
